  •  Lu Gou Qiao
    [Marco Polo Bridge]

    Lu Gou Qiao, also known as the Marco Polo Bridge, is first built in 1192 and is one of earliest segmented stone arch bridges.  It is located about 16 km outside of Beijing.

    The bridge is 260 meters long and has 250 marble balustrades supporting 485 carved stone lions.
